This institution started working as Johar Government Girls School and on November 01, 1971 obtained the status of Government College for Elementary Teachers and ultimately achieved its present status of a University of Education Campus in 2004.Although in its inception period it lacked teaching staff, academic facilities and advanced courses for studies.It has launched multi disciplinary courses.
